Hey guys used the search bar but didnt answer my question.
I have a 2005 g sedan revup 6speed with a dead engine and i also have a 05 at engine on the bench ready to go.
my question is this. Can i just drop the de on the car with the exhaust cam sensors unplugged and have it running while i build the revup for more power with better parts? Ik i can swap the heads and stuff from the revup but i would like to just build it together and have the car running at the same time if possible.

No, the engine will not start if it doesn't have all the cam sensors sending data.

 

Basically the same thing as if you just unplug the two extra sensors and try to start your motor, it won't start.
