Hey all! Taking delivery of an 07 G35s Sedan 6MT tomorrow. I’ve owned and worked on a ton of cars, but this is my first Infiniti. I’m sure I’ll have some dumb questions here and there, but I swear I know how to use a search bar haha.

Any mods or things you are thinking of doing to it?

 

Thanks! Right now my main priority is fact-finding. It has some mods, but the current owner is not the one who installed them and he isn’t sure what all is in place, what brands, etc. It has coil-overs for sure, as well as some sort of aftermarket clutch just based on driving it.

My first planned mod will be resonated test pipes, since its throwing a code for both front o2 sensors and both cats. After that, I want to sort the interior out. I’m hoping to find a new driver seat of the same color that’s in better shape. It needs a new dash pad, or at least this one repaired, and the window switches only work when they want to.

One major issue I should probably sort out soon is the fact that the telescoping steering wheel only goes down, not up. So it’s super low and I had to squeeze my legs in haha. But hey, project car 🤷🏻‍♂️
