Brake Caliper

Was changing my front brakes and the caliper wasn’t able to close due to the caliper not clearing the guide pin bushing . Should it be springy enough in order to clear and close or is it considered seized up ? Do I need to replace the caliper ?

Post a pic of what you mean. Caliper should be able to slide on the other guide pin. If you replaced the pads you'll need to push the piston all the way into the caliper or the new pads won't clear. It's not too common for the front calipers to seize up on these cars - rears are a different story.
