Not to sure how to explain but I picked up the car with a whole in the rear bumper below the gas tank, there’s a tube poking out above the evap canister would anyone know what this was for or how I go about fixing it ?

 

P0442 is a small EVAP leak, I have no clue what the tube is though, chase it down and find out where it goes.
