Hello everyone, I'm an old member who is back to share our amazing low mileage 2003 G35 Coupe. I originally purchased a 2005 Pearl White 6MT Coupe new, made a few performance and suspension upgrades, and regularly took it to Summit Point Raceway in WV for open track days - it was a pleasure to turn off the traction control and drift through the Esses. Great car, great sound system, I absolutely loved my "Japanese Mustang" until someone scratched the paint - it had to go.
I replaced it with a 2008 Jaguar XKR Coupe "British Mustang" which I still have. Then I bought a 2016 Shelby GT 350 Track Pack "real Mustang".
A few months ago, my neighbor told me she will be selling her Mom's Nissan Sports Car, and I said send me pics. Turns out it was this beautiful silver 03 G35 Auto with the light tan interior. I saw the picture of the odometer which said 19K miles. Her Mom bought the car new in 03 when she was 72yrs young. She immediately covered the steering wheel and the floor mats. As a snowbird, she went to Florida for half the year and the car was always kept in her condo parking garage. This car has no sun damage, the headlights are clear, and the interior even smells new. The elderly lady is losing her vision and since she could no longer drive, the family wanted to sell the car to someone who knew what it was. I did not hesitate to scoop it up.
My wife opted to replace the original Bose cassette head unit with a new Sony 7.5" touchscreen unit with integrated backup camera, bluetooth, etc.. We also had the windows tinted to the MD legal level. It received new tires, brakes and rotors at 17K miles. It currently has 23K miles and is like a new car.
Hope you enjoyed the story,
Greg 2003 G35 coupe interior - perfect condition and smells like new. 2003 G35 Coupe, AT, 23K Miles - stunning survivor condition. 2003 G35 Engine bay looks new - 23K miles as of 4/4/2022.
Wow. You don't see one in that condition too often. It looks like the driver's door lock cover is missing? You can find them new but unfortunately they're ridiculously expensive for what they are.
Welcome to the club, Greg! Great to have you back. This has been a great resource of material over the years and we have a pretty cordial group of folks relative to a few of the other venues out there.
