‘07 G35, when pressing alarm button the alarm goes off but not when I press the wheel, fuse is good, all of controls on steering wheel work leading me to think it’s not the clockspring. Help!!! Need to get inspection soon!

 

It could still be the clockspring.

 

Unplug the horn relay, measure resistance (ohms) from pin 1 to ground source (you won't see the wire color but it's a green/black stripe wire). It should be an open circuit, zero ohms. Have someone else push the horn and the resistance should change to a closed circuit. If the circuit doesn't close then that signal is not making it from the button contact through the clock spring and out to the relay.
