Mostly factory everything. New aftermarket tail lights and different custom rims
Hello

I am recently a first time g35 owner. I bought an 04 base sedan with 215,000 on it with absolutely no intentions on turning it into my new project. But, like my cousin told me (who is also a g35 coupe, 350z, and 370z owner) I was gonna fall for this car.... Well I did.... Just something about this RWD sedan that hooked me. Maybe it was the first time i kicked her *** end around pulling out from my driveway on (accident) Maybe it's how good she looks and the potential I've seen in other builds.. Could be the fact I haven't owned something this fun to drive since my very first car 20 yrs ago... (1992 Chevrolet Caprice ex patrol car) Anyways.... I'm hooked, but not familiar with Nissan motors... I've grown up working on drag cars with my father, mostly Chevrolet engines.... I built my first 350 V8 from the bare block up to a 520+ HP monster powering a 1973 Nova SS. I hope to ACTUALLY find some USEFUL information from this group seeing how anything and everyone else I've found on FB is a joke. My plans for this build are either my daily drifter... At least until I get another car. I would REALLY like to blow my dad's buick regal away in the 1/8 mile! He swears he'll never be beat by a (ricer) I've always had a soft spot for JDM just never attempted until now. Anyways... that's my story/project plans.

REALLY wish i could find some decent custom headlights! Any suggestions?

Some new Tail lights

Good story, and welcome! I’m new here myself, but there seems to be lots of info and help here.

I kinda have the same back story as you, but now I just really enjoy the smaller displacement motors in lighter cars. They are more expensive to build, and more complicated in some regards, but they are a lot of fun.

Your sedan looks pretty good for being in northern Michigan, seems most up in the rust belt are all rusted, especially the rear wheel wells.

Do you have any definite plans for the car yet or just waiting to see how it evolves?
