New 07 g35 owner

Just bought this 07 with 170k miles it runs good still gonna get it looked at & some work done on it to make sure everything is good to go. Was just wondering how much it usually runs to wrap these g35’s its got a little rust about to form near the back wheels. Would a wrap preserve the paint & stop the possible rust that’ll probably form after the winter season

Nice looking ride!

Unfortunately nothing will stop rust, especially not a wrap. The only thing that a wrap will make “easier” is that you can cut out the rust, do body repair and not have to paint the whole panel and part of the door to blend it in, you can just cover it up. I’ve never gotten an actual quote, but I’ve heard that wraps can be a couple grand or more. Good material applied by a pro would probably be 3-4 grand.

I dropped $300 on the hood alone so I'd ballpark 1800-2400 for the entire car.
