The fuse is supposed to prevent the wires from burning. So do not put a higher amperage rated fuse if it keeps blowing.
But sounds like u have a wire shorting out somewhere. Gotta find it and fix it.

When you say "taillight" do you mean the BRAKE LIGHTS or the PARKING LIGHTS ?
