Hello!
Hello!
Hello,
I am new here. Have had my 2007 G35 sedan, automatic, since 2016. Love my car so much and I’m trying to keep her in good shape. Was recently told by my mechanic that I need to have a reflash done, from the dealership, for a dead spot/hesitation when gently pressing the pedal like when driving through a parking lot of slowly taking off from a stop. He spent many hours testing everything he could and found no issues. He replaced the plugs and coils. I’ve had this for years but was not very noticeable and has slowly become worse. Anyone else have any experience with this?

Yes it's a somewhat common issue for the 2007-2008 sedan.
Alternately you could get an UpRev tune, more expensive, more power to be gained. Just depends on what you're doing with the car. Dealership will be like $175, Uprev is quite a bit more expensive but it's an actual custom tune.
