Hi guys. I recently bought a 07 G35 coupe rev up. Everything was working fine. It has a aftermarket head unit that just stopped working. The navigation doesn’t pop up and my cluster lights went out. I checked fuses and all is good. The gauges work just no illumination on the dash. Can anyone help me figure this out?

 

Hopefully it’s the simple solution. On the left of your steering wheel is a gauge cluster brightness wheel. Make sure that’s not turned down all the way to off.

as for the nav not working, I’m confused there. The aftermarket head unit could have sketchy wiring. Check for loose connections. There is an electrical Interior sub forum here with a guide to changing out the stock head unit.
