Hid to halogen conversion

Hey, I recently purchased a 2004 g35 sedan and the headlights are trashed, so I bought new headlight housings. The only problem is they are for the halogen model and I have the hid model g35. I was wondering what I need to do in order for them to work with my car. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

They should plug right in and work. The ballast was integrated into the old set of headlights before.

Ok, I plugged in one to test it and the low beams are not working. I checked the fuses for the low beams and there’s no power going through them even though they aren’t blown. I don’t know what to do next, thoughts?

You aren’t getting 12V at the fuses for the headlight circuit? Are the lights on, or on auto / parking on accident? I’m worried if you aren’t getting 12V to even the fuses, you have bigger problems.

Swap the high and low beam relays, might just be a bad relay.

There's also two fuses, one for high, one for low, in the IPDM where the headlight relays are located.
