Hello everyone I'm new to the site and a new owner of a beautiful 2003 g35 which only set me back $2500 total with TT&L. It's so clean you can eat off the engine as well as the Interior. It's has no stains or rips and EVERYTHING works like it was just made yesterday heated seats work. Everything except the steering wheel radio controls but thats because its got a pioneer deck not the factory radio. What's some of the usual first upgrades? Also where can I find the appropriate skyline badging?? Also what color silver or Grey is the official name for the paint color?

There's a color code on the engine bay tag, I think yours is the "brilliant silver" but check the tag to see if the color code is KY0

 

I think it is the desert platinum i beleive. It says KX6 S also are there any "special" or hard to find vin numbers or anything less known to look for. Anything else make it anymore special to me ?? Lol. I appreciate your feedback. So far, this website has been AWESOME. I need a g35 no skyline driver shirt 🤣

 

Where's the best place to get the skyline badges?? Has anyone tried the clip on one in the front grill?? Wondering how it firs/looks.

Cheap Mods:
- Rebadging to Skyline is not a very popular mod, most members debadge the Infiniti letters.
- Painting the front grille black is nice, makes the front pop more
- Clear corners
- Wash/polishing paint goes a long way
- Vinyl wrap the rear valance strip in black
- Sand/polish the lips on the rims

If you want to spend some money:
- Get your hands on some 06+ Headlights it will make it look more modern
- Repaint front bumper
- Get wheel spacers

 

I'm not gonna do that skyline badging but tomorrow i plan on taking the trunk badges off. I'm just curious if the "G35" emblem on the trunk is stuck on or pegged on as in having holes yo deal with?? I've also looked at some aftermarket black mesh grill for the front which will take care of Mt fuji in the front and all on the exterior. Badging

 

All the badges on the trunk are glued on, you can search for some pictures where members debaged the whole trunk (I have at one point too).
If you search for "emblemless grille" you can find one without the Mt. Fuji. I painted mine black and left the Mt. Fuji silver which also looks good.
