I've always wanted an E46 M3 as far back as I can remember. But, like most of us, I didn't have sufficient funds to fork out that much money. So what's the next best thing....a G35! It was a close 2nd in my list, so after finally saving enough as a downpayment, I finally pulled the trigger last week .

I took delivery yesterday (9/3)! The dealer still owe me two things: the front lip spoiler (which they didn't have available at the time) & a scratch on the edge of the front bumper...both they will gladly take care of at the same time when the lip spoiler arrives sometime next week! Other than that....I'm almost happy !

Btw, it's an '05 6MT Diamond Graphite w/ Graphite interior, Navigation, Premium, Aero Package, Front Lip Spoiler, Splash, & Trunk Mats.

Next on the agenda, clear bra, V1 radar detector, hardwire my iPod, and possibly tint??

I already ordered clear corners, 5 Wedge Bulbs for both clearance strip & corners (as recommended by a thread in here), and the Osram Silverstars for the fogs! I will take more pics after I get it all installed!

yeah, it was behind the service entrance ! ramsey seem to be doing alot of business. it was crowded in there saturday. maybe cuz it was labor day weekend ? anyways, so many ppl gave the car compliments as they walked by.

I know the feeling about compliments when i was there everyone asked me about the car and if it was worth it.

 

Dude, I so regret not getting an M3 instead of the G. I hope you have more luck with the G keeping you happy. Btw the Silverstars aren't a perfect match for the fogs, I had them and got rid of them for the Mtec's.
