Black Obsidian with Body Side moldings

Hey guys, I'm about to pick up my '05 BO 6mt tomorrow and I just wanted to know your opinion on whether or not it is worth to force the dealer to remove the body side moldings since it is already on the car. The dealer kept emphasizing that he does not want to damage the car whatsoever but he will look into it for me. It's pretty much the only Black/Stone 6mt available with the options I'm looking for...

I really don't like the look of the moldings but if it's not worth the risk of removing, then I can live with it...just seeing what you guys think. Maybe having them on a car being black wouldn't show up as bad (by the way, I have yet to see the moldings in person on black, let alone actually seeing the car I just purchased)

Thanks!

adds a little flavor to the car

Not the best angel to show it, but I'm definitely happy that I got mine.

I think that they will look just fine . . . Plus the added protection doesn't hurt either.

I asked for my car with them, but since it came w/o I told dealer I wanted it that way (plus refund). I think it looks better w/o. I have taken splashguards off myself on my previous G and there is no way they can mess up your car. Its easy as hell. I suggest you do it yourself. That way, you will know its going to be done properlly. It cant take more than 30 minutes. Its taped with a weak tape to the car. Just remove the screwes and pull jently.

It looks much cleaner without the moldings... however, when it rains, say goodbie to your "detailed" car. You get watter makrs on your rear bumper real easy.
