Hi all. First time poster here, been lurking for a couple weeks though. I only wish I'd found this site sooner.

See, I have this problem.. Im an impulse buyer. Three weeks ago I spotted a Diamond Graphite G35, decided to drive it just for kicks, next thing I know Im driving home in it.

Since purchasing Ive read numerous posts about bugs specific to the 03 models, but aside from tranny problems, no one ever seems to go into detail. So, I have two requests.

1. Could someone give me a breakdown of any issues I should be aware of?

2. Is there someone in the DC area that is familiar with the clutch/tranny issues on this car? I'd like a knowledgable owners opinion on how rough it seems before I go bitching to the dealership. Maybe its just me, but I swear it seems ten times worse than when I bought it, and Ive only been about 1k miles.

i have an 03 and have had no problems what so ever. but mine is a 5AT, i think it was just the 6MT tranny that had the problems

 

Welcome.. do a search on 6MT clutch problems ull find something
