You would think the deals are getting better, as the dealer are going to be highly motivated to move out their existing inventory to make way for the new production year models. However, by the same token, I would have to believe that choices with regard to color combos, packages, etc. are going to be getting quite limited, as the '05's are sold with no replacements to follow.

If you think about it, the dealers have to blow out the '05s to make room for the new '06s. However, they've got to live off the '06s for the next 11-12 months, so they're going to be less inclined to get super aggressive on '06 prices.

As Andy2434 said, the '05 inventories are getting limited, so the odds of finding the exact color/option combo are going to keep decreasing from here on out....

I bought a 2005 Coupe on 9/30. $1K below invoice, and it was the exact color and options I wanted. Once I had a good deal negotiated, I pulled the trigger as I didn't want to settle for a different color or less options.

Good Luck.

My advice is to start shopping NOW....check out all the local dealers. I hear that 6-speed cars are hard(er) to find. If you do find it, don't waste too much time. I'd be willing to bet that a month or so from now the '05s will be mostly gone except for weird/undesirable combos.

Right, the '05 6MT is going to be a rare bird on the lots very soon, if not already. Hurry!

I imagine you could get a good deal on a 05 coupe but not sure about the sedan since their are few changes. It really depends on the area and how well the cars are selling. Like the others said, it's probably more of a challenge to find one you want.

There ae practically no 05's in the ny metro area. I called up NJ and some parts of CT and they had a few, but not in the options/color i wanted.

I wound up with an 06 g35x, navi. Im glad i did, there are some nice upgrades in this years models, even though everyone says they stayed the same.
Bluetooth and better navi interface, subtle but im really happy i got them.

I got my 06 for invoice, 05s i did find were around 1000-1500 under invoice.. all except Harte up in CT, those crackheads wanted 500 over invoice on an 05 car.. whackos.

Bunch of '05 Coupes in KC .........

Picked up my '06 Coupe last week from Major Infiniti in Kansas City. They have a bunch of '05s including several MT's. Jerrod Will.iamson did right by me. A "motorhead" and good guy, IMO.
