Hi All

I picked up my new 06 G35x on Dec 29. My brother bought his G35 coupe new in 2004 and from the first time I saw it in the driveway and got to drive it I knew that I wanted that car. He got the car right before the summer time and it was awesome driving the car in the summer but when it came to the winter time it was almost nearly inpossible to drive it around in the snow. We live in Boston. So it does snow here during the winter time. So I decided to look at purchasing the AWD G35x. I had to wait a year since I getting deployed to go overseas. When I got back in mid December 05 I went out to the dealership to test drive the G35x and loved the car. I went to 2 dealerships to get a good deal on the G35x and finally go one for 35K. The G35x exterior color is Diamond Graphite and the interior is Stone leather and it has all the options except for the GPS. Which I went out and bought my own. I got the Lowrance iWay 500 which fits pretty good where the factory GPS screen would come up. The only thing I am looking to add to the car is tinted windows and the clear bra to the front bumper. I'm not sure what I want to do to mod my car. I haven't seen too many posting for modding the G35x so I'm am kinda hesitant on what kind of mods I can do. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should kind of upgrade or mods to do on the car. I'm not looking to go all out on modding the car. But I would like to know what my options are to upgrade and mod my car. When the weather is better I'll take some pictures of the G35x and post it online. Thanks!

I just bought a G35x as well - same color combination, too! (great minds thinking alike?) I'm considering the same appearance mods you are - window tint (Virginia summers are hotter than yours) and clear bra. I'll be curious to read what you decide to do. I posted a few pix of my new "baby" earlier today. That AWD is going to come in handy when the snows covering 495. Happy driving!

I just got my Autobahndt Intl. clear bra put on last night!!! It's looks awesome!!! It's been raining all day here in Boston. When it clears up I get some pictures posted. I only got the front part of the car done. I asked if the guy could also do the back bumper and top lip of the bumper by the trunk done. And he said that he could get clear bra put on it. So i'm having that done this weekend. The clear bra that he is going to put on is just the back side of the bumper and doesn't cover the corners of the bumper. Which is what I was looking for. That way if someone parks to close to the back bumper it'll scratch or nick up the clear bra only and not the paint. And the same goes for the top lip of the bumper by the trunck. I don't know if visualize what i'm talking about. But I'll post some pictures of it when it's done.
And I just got the factory drilled aluminium pedal kit. Can't wait to put those on. I actually bought two sets. When i bought the first set I didn't read the description close enough as the sedan pedal kit didn't come with the drilled aluminium gas pedal. It just came with the drilled aluminium brake pedal and the foot rest. I didn't notice it until I opened the box that there was no gas pedal. I was going to return it but they charge a 20% restocking fee! I was pissed. So i just went to another site to get a the full factory Drilled Aluminium Pedal Kit. So if anyone wants to buy just the Aluminium footrest and the brake pedal i will sell it to them for what I bought them for $50.00 and I'll pay for shipping to them. I haven't found a site that sells the Drilled Aluminum Gas pedal. PM me if you are interested.
