Picking up my New G Coupe in 4 Days!

I just got a call from my dealer and he informed me that my new '06 coupe would be ready to be picked up on Friday just in time for the weekend.

Woohoo!!!!

It is a Black/Stone AT with the Premium & NAV. I am so excited I can't freakin stand it. I already ordered the clear markers and am shopping for rims.

This forum has been a great help, thanks everyone.

Congrats and welcome to the boards. LOL . . . These next 4 days are probably going to seem to take forever . . . Well worth the wait though.

Word of advice from an 06 black G. I wished I knew this 3 months ago.

Don't let the dealership wash or wax.
Request the dealer not to drill on the front bumper if you do not intend to install a plate.
Bring it straight home and put on a Klasse AIO and SG (2 coats). If you're **** like me, best to request the dealership not to peel the protective sticker.

Drill?

They would actually drill into the front bumper? Are you kidding? Wow, I'm leaving a message for my sales guy right now!

Also, which protective sticker do you mean? The white ones all over the car?

What is bad about the job the dealership does with the wash and wax?

Yes, they drill into the bumper.
Yes, the white shipping stickers.
Dealership's wash and wax will leave micro-scratches. If you're going to own a black vehicle, you will have to be very educated with proper exterior care. This site is a library of knowledge.
