After about a year of waiting and wondering, I have finally placed my order for a 2006 Athens Blue Coupe with Graphite interior. I got a 6-MT with Premium, Navigation, Aero, and Trunk Mat. I got the car for $1,500 over invoice, which I think is a pretty good price for Pittsburgh considering there is only one dealer in the area. (Give me a break guys, this isn't California). I did get the dealer to throw in the rear splash guards because you cannot order a set with the car because of the new side sills. When the car comes in, I plan on having the dealer install a clear bra and clear side markers. I'm very excited, especially given the fact that I first test drove this car back in July of 2005. The dealer told me it would take up to 3 months for the car to come in, which puts me around June or July.

I've test driven so many cars over the past few months and none has to the G35. I really tried to be practical and tell myself that I didn't need a $40k car, but everything I drove seemed so inferior to the G. Needless to say, I can't wait until July.

Is the typical wait for an ordered G35 Coupe 2-3 months? I, too want a 2006 6MT Athens Blue/Graphite G35C with sunroof only and if I place an order at the end of March, is it possible to get it by mid-June?

new to the board here...just got my athens blue/graphite coupe today with prem., sport, aero and sirius. Apparently it's a very rare color here in Florida. I'm pumped!

I traded in my G35 sedan and cannot be happier switching into the coupe...my wife is so jealous and she just got an IS 350 a month ago.

 

I picked up my AB/stone interior G35C last saturday and I love it! Cant wait for 1,200 miles.
