So I joined this forum about 3 weeks ago in preperation for my new ride so I could read up on the G. I picked up the car 2 Fridays ago and was finally able to take some pictures of it yesterday. I got a 2004 G35 coupe, AT, and only 6200 miles when I picked it up. It's a base model, but that's really all I wanted.





I just did my first oil change yesterday. It was pretty easy and straight forward, but taking that cover off the bottom was a b!tch!!! Being that I'm 6'2'' probably didn't help either.

Total Time: 1 hour
Time Spent on Cover: 45 min.

I used a OEM filter and Mobile 1 synthetic oil and from what I read that's a good choice.

Wow 6200 miles !? That's practically brand new! Congrats on your purchase. That's a beautiful car!

 

Looks good! Man I love the shine you get on black paint, just hate the care necessary to keep it that way.
