I'd ask why? Never found it effective on late model cars. Today's brake PADs adapt better to the rotor surface if you follow the "bedding" procedures. If you think you're rotors are warped, try re-torqueing the lugs. If they are hopeless or worn beyoind clearance specs, replace 'em as resurfacing won't cure that either.

sounds like the rotors might be warped.
Same thing happen to me and i had the dealer resurface the rotor under warranty and scuff up my pads.

I felt the rattling from the front on my car when it happened

how many miles on your pads and on your rotors? Anything done to any tire or wheel right before you noticed the shakes? Were you riding the brake for any reason?
The shakes can happen for any number of reasons but if you have a torque wrench, re-torque lugs to ~75 lb-ft. - may save you some money.

Been there, done that -problem vaporized.

If not don't speculate and gfo out and buy pads. First inspect the rotors and pads on all 4 wheels to see if there is anything abnormal or uneven...

If in doubt at this point see your dealer...

Might find the attached informative;
