Hey guys! I just wanted to say that as of yesterday at 9pm I am the proud new owner of a 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6MT. I've read up on this forum a lot before I purchased the car and researched the hell out of the car as well. And I have to say I am veryyy happy with my purchase. Even though I can't fully open her up because its still during break-in period, I can still tell how much fun this car will be to drive. I bought the car in the Diamond Graphite Exterior with the black leather interior, with the premium package and rear active steer package. I'm from Long Island, NY so I wonder if there are any meets or group things that go on from this forum? If there is keep me posted! Thanks!

Thanks a lot guys! It's def a hot car to own. I picked it up from Millenium Infiniti in Manhasset, Long Island. I paid $36,400 before taxes and such. Not a bad deal I thought so it was just a matter of signing on the dotted line. And with that....I must now go out and break her in! haha

 

hey wussup.. congratz.. i gotta break in my car too.. got 100 more miles to go =) check out the club g-squad for events/meets.. sometimes we have a mini meet that we set up in flushing municipal parking lot..

 

Hey sounds great man, I'm used to goin to flushing all the time for food and such with people. So if i don't see it let me know whats goin on for the next meet!

 

yup, congrats my dude! Check out the G-Squad thread in the regional section of this forum and you will get all of your answers. ALso, speaking of meets. One of the biggest ones will be tomorrow, and E-Town in Jersey. It's the infiniti/nissan day. THey will have a show and 1/4 mile race. You could watch/race or spectate. ALso, not affiliated with the event tomorrow but at E-Town nonetheless, the scca does autocrossing there. I usually go to the autox events and race. A few other g's are racing autox tomorrow too, if it don't rain...

 

Congrats Gladiac, I just got an 06 6MT DG myself. Had it for two weeks now, have just over 1100 miles on it. I traded in a Subaru STi for it. Couldnt be happier. This is ALMOST just as fast, but a hell of a lot more refined. I wish that I was able to go to Raceway Park today, thats like 10 min from my house. Unfortionatly I am stuck here at work. Later all, All us NJersians should meet up for a ride one day.

But yea I was readin up on the G-Squad site for the event info and I'm gonna try and see if I can make it out for the next one nearest to me. But if you guys happen to meet up in Flushing anytime soon def let me know!
