Shout out to sweet TB 05 CPE (Needham, MA)

I slid past you in traffic, didn't think you'd notice me with my lowly 17s... thanks for the thumbs up, I assumed you weren't a fan and most likely just an exec headed out of the office park. I wish I could find some of those 19s locally...

Maybe you are active in the NY forums, since you had a NY dealer frame around your MA plate. Your car looked great.

Good to meet u guys today at the unplanned meet I stunbled upon. I used to drive those roads a lot, I had no idea the pavement was so fresh.

Post up the aftermath, I usually get my V Power at Rojos for 2.25, so on an empty tank I get about a free lunch on the savings. They also give me free carwashes etc.

Also, I need that tint info from the North Shore, unless Greg knows any brazilians who might do it for less.

I would figure that winter/ pre-spring is the best time to get good deals. Unless I find a place in Framtown, I will use your hookup in the next few months once I figure out what my wheels end up costing me.

If you need to set up the deal, I will let you know when I am ready. If you want to PM me a name/#, feel free.

Again on the subject of tinting the windows, I forgot to ask the other owners tonight what tint% they had. Granted, the guys with black interiors can get away with a higher %. I want the privacy without too dark a tint. I only got a closeup look at the blue coupes, I didnt get around to the other ones

Go 20% if you feel like it. You live in Needham - I doubt they have a Tint-meter. I walked into the Natick police station last week and was chatting with an officer about what's legal/not legal regarding modifications. He said Natick doesn't even care about enforcing that kinda stuff. He told me that they don't have problems with that sort of thing, so they don't even have the equipment to measure window tint! Nor do they give a @#$% if you modify this or that. It's good living in the suburbs! I'm sure Needham is the same. Just stay out of Framingham - I bet they have the equipment to measure your tint. Staties without a doubt have it. Once, I got pulled over in Waltham for a tint check. Thankfully I passed.

Back in 04 I was in NH and was running 5% limo tint, which took ***** in a state with no driver/passenger tint allowed.

I have used LLumar brand at 35%, and really liked the prefect mix of privacy and see-thru ability at night. LLumar makes a legal tint version that is semi-reflective; in sunlight it is silver, and in shade it is dark gray. It might look good on a silver G.

Keep in mind that I do a bit of driving in NH, CT, and NY. With MA plates, I don't think I will get hassled outside of a bored MA Statie. I drive mostly in the suburbs. I forgot to tell you guys that the stock ride height killed my exhuast in Boston. It was vibrating and torn on the flex section, so I had to replace it. I now have a spare coupe muffler, I'd love to somehow use it on a non G35 just to duplicate the sound hehe j/k

Ya Juan, you missed some fun stuff, dude.

Yesterday I called Arcady and Joe to let them know I was going over my brother's house to do some mods. So today they both came to join me at my brother's house in Wellesley, and Joe brought Dean (M4Gunner) and Chris (Titan) along.
I did the sidemarker mod to turn it into a blinker. My brother is an electrician and he hooked me up. Arcady helped me replace the in-cabin air filter with a Carbon-Activated filter that I bought from Gordgee here on the forums.
We also installed my Invisicord for my radar detector. It's just a modified RJ45 (telephone) cord that you can plug into the back of your rearview mirror. It keeps your radar detector stealthy and free of ugly dangling powercords. I have mine mounted to the left of my mirror now. It looks slick and is quite stealthy.

Then after that, we were going to install my grounding kit and Plenum Spacer, but we kinda got kicked out of my brother's driveway by his old wrinkly woman of a landlord.

So we went to the Olive Garden for some food on Rte 9 in Natick. On the way there, we passed a young red-headed chick in a Silver coupe, but she wasn't interested in sleeping with any of us, so we kept going.

At the Olive Garden, we ran into some RANDOM dude who was driving an Athens Blue coupe with spoiler and everything. He wasn't interested in the forums or talking much about his car. We think he stole it. lol j/k

Then Harold (BrokeBallin) and his GF thought it would funny if they just RANDOMLY showed up to eat at the same Olive Garden we were at. We saw them on our way out of the restaurant.

So we planned on taking a cruise after we ate. As we were leaving the parking lot, there was a Silver coupe stopped at the exit to the lot. I pulled up next to the guy thinking it was Arcady or Dean, but it was another RANDOM encounter with a G35 coupe driver! It was Moe, and I asked him if he wanted to go for a cruise with us. He agreed, and we went driving through Dover and Sherborn for a good 30 minutes before splitting up and going home.

It was an amazingly bizzare (and fun) day. The Olive Garden parking lot has NEVER had so many G's in it at once! There were a total of 7 coupes there!! Weird!

too bad we couldn't install the spacer or grounding kit on Brian's car...

maybe it's a sign that you should order the MREV and Ztube before you start the install
