Simple mods go a long way tho J...intake + exhaust + chip = DONE!

For me, the mods are actually cheaper for this car...and the gains are AMAZING compared to the G...so look for some serious mods come springtime.

AWD + 4 doors = We are all grows up now!

Chip ? im assuming you meant flash ? and yes, evo9 takes very very well to simple mods

example - intake, turboback and a flash/tune will net you around 330awhp, depending on who to go you for your tune

The "chip" comment was for HIS car (Audi S4) not my Evo. I know that Evo's get reflashed...and ive already contacted TurboTrix about my custom flash/tune in the spring time.

Im looking at: Intake, TurboBack, Manual Boost Controller, fuel pump, and some other misc goodies for a solid 350awhp on pump gas!!!!! That should be plenty of power to keep me occupied for a while!

yea, that should hold you off til you get the evo bug .. LOL ...

as for me, im going the opposite direction as you, im coming off an EVO8 to a G35 ... good luck and rock on !

and yes, GT Spec does make an awesome header that bolts right up to the stock or 20G turbo .. slap one on and i've never looked back ! .. GT Spec is the only few that is willing to send out their products to get dyno'd and let pros to write about ..

I dunno why people call it an Econo Box. The car costs as much or more than a G coupe..?

Yea, the sticker on my 06 EVO 9 Special Edition was $33,700.00. I know people who have got G35's for less than that...

I think they are usually talking about the interior, radio, lack of luxuaries, etc...Because they DEF arent referring to the Awesome motor, AWD system, Brembo brakes, Recaro Seats, HID headlights (that move up & down with a switch), and Momo leather wheel and shift ****

Down_Shift, you sound like you are itching for an Evo? DO IT man.....and if you want (i know its far) but bring your Turbo G down to my place and well give em a good thrashing! Id love to convince another G Coupe guy to come to the darkside.

Correct. I'm referring to some carry overs from the car it's based off of, the $15k lancer. If you've sat in one, you know what I mean

Now about the performance, nothing shabby about that!

It's just funny that you came from a G35, because a G35 gives up some performance for luxury....whereas the evo gives up any luxury for performance

Correct & Correct. But the while the Evo gives up some luxury for performance, i also GAINED a large trunk, a nice-sized backseat, lower monthly car payment, and a car that will be good in ALL weather conditions.
