to vent - to add to the inevitable parked "accident" i mentioned in an earlier post (my first accident for anyone who may have missed it)- i went to Roosevelt Field Mall to cheer myself up since my birthday is Sunday. While I was at the mall, I somehow managed to lose $60 in cash that was in my jacket. So I was pi$$ed off, got back on the Southern State to come home. There was an SUV that was on my *** (i was doing 80 - just wanted to get home) and he kept high beaming me, blinding me. So I moved over, but he stayed behind me pushing up very close, high beaming me. He did this for a while so I just pulled to the middle lane (but maintained speed since the roads were empty), and the next thing I knew, sirens started flashing me - it was a Nassau county cop. Pulled me on to the grass, gave me a summons for doing 82 in a 55 zone and wished me a happy birthday. a$$hole. Military ID and PBA card didn't save me this time.

What a bad day.

 

He was flashing his high beams at you just to make you speed up? Wow. That makes my blood boil...sounds like a d!ckhole just looking to ruin someones day. Maybe his day was worse than yours and that's why he was looking for a victim to give a ticket to. Maybe his Mom fell down some stairs and is in the hospital (or at least we can hope, right?).

 

I would definately fight this ticket if you don't have many... I got pulled over a few days ago on 84 going to CT doing 80 in a 65 which is bull $h!t because I saw the trooper pulled over in a rest stop and made sure I was at least under 75 not to mention I have a radar detector and cars were going by me in the fast lane
