Queens and Brooklyn guys...Be on the lookout!
This is for the fellow 'drivers in Queens and BK. Be on the watch for the new unercover NYPD Hemi Chargers. They are black with no tint on the windows. The only have 2 lights on top of the front dash and 2 lights on the rear parcel shelf. The lights are slim and low and are very hard to see. Also, there are no bumper guards on the cars.
I've spotted 4 of these so far on the LIE, the Belt pkwy and Clearview Expwy.
On the LIE - They patrol east/west non stop at around 9 a.m.
On the Clearview - Cop drives back and forth pulling over people at all times.
On the Belt - Cop usually on the eastbound side right after knapp street and also by Pennsylvania Ave.
There is also 2 Hemi Chargers in full NYPD dress on the BQE right by the Williamsburg Bridge onramp .
Watch out for these unmarked chargers out there guys, they tend to follow close to the cars infront of them and once you speed up, they nail you.

This undercover stuff the cops pull is not nearly as effective as having an actual police car around. You notice when people see actual police cars, everyone automatically slows down. With the undercovers, it's like they WANT you to speed. Talk about (semi-)entrapment. If you want less speeding, use more actual cops and not undercover ones.
My bottom line: the city doesn't care about people driving into a wall at 100 MPH; they just want to get PAID.

i wish i would have gotten this warning about 3 weeks ago. i unfortunately got stopped by the exact car you described but he actually had tints i believe. it was at night and it was my 1st time being stopped so i really dont know. but yeah.. be on the lookout guys, no speeding, tailgating none of that nonsense.
BTW i got pulled over near the 20ave exit on the Whitestone expwy. he followed me all throughout the cross island pkwy.
