20's or 19's in NY

im originally from ny but living in cali for the past 6 months. Im gonna be out here for about another year or so before i move back to ny for good. Now, Im thinking about getting some wheels and am a bit confused. I wanna get 20's cuz they look nice and the tires are cheaper than 19's but im afraid when i move back that it wont be a practical daily driver because of the roads. Im most likely gonna be living in queens. Anyone here have 20's as a daily driver. Im gonna be going to work n back, prolly in long island. Ill keep the stocks for the winter and the dubs for spring, summer, fall. Any feedback is appreciated. THanks.

Take it like a man....lol. Get the 20's. I live in Boston and believe me the road are pretty much the same here as they are in NYC (IE Cross Bronx X-Way, NYC vs Mass Ave, Boston, MA or FDR and GWB NYC vs Tobin Bridge, Callhan Tunnel). I do pretty good though. A good suspension will help you out a lot oo.

i had 20's no issues with a lot of my cars... just be careful of potholes. 19's were a good drive b/c i had 40 series tires on them.

245/30/20 in the front on a 20x8.5+25 and 275/30/20 in the rear on a 20x10.5+25

245/35/20 tires and i drove to NYC all the time. when you have rims you get used to where the potholes and big bumps are. if not then don't get any type of rims
