lol. i wish i was an ADM, but no one lied to me. it's only Feb now and I've already earned almost 10k, remember this post right here because around Xmas time I'm gonna ressurect this thread and clip onto it unclass parts of my LES for the year and show you what I banked this year. unfortunatly I'm gonna be forced to earn every cent. I hate working, ah well.

Oh and scootchy, bartender isn't a half bad idea, you'd just have to actually work and not be high all the time. ha ha

ok no prob. well i'm a PO2, i've been in nearly 8 years. there's one factor. second i collect a slew of allowances and incentive pays. i'm over here in the gulf so i don't pay any taxes, and per diem is through the roof. not to mention i will reenlist this year and grab a phat bonus, plus another bonus for doin 2 years out here vs 1 yr. all in all when the year is done i would have made well into 6 figures, which almost tripple what i made in RI. I'm just tryin to manage how and where to invest my earnings. I wanna get into real estate. nothin major, just a littlle somethin.

schootch has a nice little set up with m&d. you an't ready for bills and the cold world. lol j.k How about a big *** loft in cambridge or something for you guys? I wouldn't live there personally, but I'd rent it out to yall. I want something built for me. But actually am thinking of buyin a baller *** villa or flat out here and renting it out to military members. i'd make about 3x more per month than renting it out to locals. I've been talkin to some people already and it looks pretty realistic. but i do want some property in the US too. i'll cross that bridge later this year. for now, i have a baller *** G35 to worry about

I've been talking to some ex-Merchant Marines and one gave up his 125k job to come work as an engineer and make ~50k. The other is still a comissioned officer, Jr.Lutenant, (speeling?) but he's one of those weekend warrior guys.

The both got sick of the water and came back home for a 50% or more pay cut. Somethings odd there. I never ask too many details but to take a pay cut like that it's got to be a shatty job.

These guys have been in more countries then the years I've been alive.

Bartending would definatly be a cool job though. Just working Thurs. Fri. Sat. and make some serious cash there. If you feel like staying up till 4am everynight but you do that anyway ;-)

You can probably find a job working the 2nd shift at a warehouse?

At one point last summer, I had to make some cash fast for a roadtrip.. so I worked day hours then 5-2am I was working warehouse. I only did it for about a month and a half.. Couldn't do it that long... working 9am-4pm then 5pm-2am.. get home and the sun's up already.. repeat.. 6 times a week! You lose alot of wait doing it though!
