OOhh I like what he's done to the engine cover. Or does it come like that in 2 peices? I never looked at it that closely.
While talking about the engine cover does it really serve a purpose or is it just for show? I herd something about keeping the heat in but is that really the reason it's there?

He had the engine cover cut custom, with a Dremel or something similar. They just chopped it up in a wavy pattern to make it look cool. It was Mike's idea, but someone else did it for him at his request. I think it came out pretty bada$$ myself.
Engine cover is just for looks. Why would you want to keep heat trapped in the engine?

The CB coupe is Chris' from Avalonracing.net
Vortech, lowered, greddy/kenstyle kit, wheels, very very nice car.
My car is in the garage, it didn't see the roads today (or else I would've died).
hahaha

Yea.. I had my engine cover dremeled to a similar design a few weeks ago.. I ended up getting rid of it and buying a Z cover though.

Matt you gotta stop doing things and then getting rid of it and doing other things, constantly constantly changing things. You change things even before you let anyone see it so we don't even know it was changed.

I'm an engineer that works on power plants. I know pleantly of good reasons to trap heat in a system

lol you should see what I've been doing the past few weeks! Every weekend has been modding weekend!

I cut the engine cover to shape the plenum.. I just didn't like how it looked, so I ended up getting a Z cover.. modifying it to fit via dremel.. painted and installed haha. IMO it looks soo much cleaner than the G cover cut.. Maybe I just had a bad design.. I might paint it and try it again to see how it looks!
