good times today. met moe there and a few Gs showed up. my best time was 14.002 @ 100.46mph..... the track was too cold to hook up and was windy. my 60 foot times were 2.3 all day

i set my tire pressure to 28psi but still didnt' get enough traction.
best 60 foot time was a 2.1 when i ran 14.002@100.46mph.... if i get down to a 2.0 60 foot i'll be in the 13's no problem.
i have the rev up motor shifted at 7200rpm's no power shifting and launched at 4000 rpm's with easy going off the clutch
yea...yesterday was my first day at the track (actually racing) my first run was my best at 14.7....depressing but i learned a few things that should improve my times next time around. When is the next time you going down?
there are a number of factors especially the weather conditions and practicing the launch is most important there.
i'm getting a set of drag radials nxt time -- the stock bridgestones just don't do justice especially when vinny ten brought the twin turbo G35 coupe on OEM 19's spinning 1st 2nd and 3rd gears

Yea traction wasnt a strong point for me either ... but what really slowed me down ( I think) was my gas tank was full since I garage my car for the winter.... i topped it off before garaging it and I never had a chance to take it out before the track
Anyways I'm thinking of getting a motordyne 5/16 spacer you think it will improve my track time?

lol had a full tank too...umm one of them lol, had volk rims and painted headlight housing
i have a 5/16 spacer, it should help a little bit...but main thing is just practice...alot of guys with similar mods as me were running 14.0-14.2
