Rally For A Track On Long Island This Sunday 3/18

there will be a huge rally for a support in development of a track to be built on Long Island. As local members you have heard of all the tragic accidents lately on the Southern State so lets prevent that and get this track approved. This has been posted on a number of forums and will have political and official presence at 8am sharp Captree State Park.

well there's too much street racing and accidents so it's a safe route to go -- also great for the economy.

Best of luck to you. I hope you get what you want, I just doubt it'll happen. But hell prove me wrong!

I know you already have Walkins Glen relativly close by, and that article mentions Englishtown, and Pocono is close also. And there has to be a SCCA and probably BWM, and probably Porsche, and probably .... you get the point .... clubs in the NYC area that already have places to race. Why not join one of them, even if you don't have one of their cars most of them are friendly to outsiders. At least they were here in Boston when I showed up at the BMW event in my Saturn. Although the BMW people may look at you funny when your driving their major competition.
