For those of you who do not have it, share some knowledge. Do the cops give you a hard time or are they relatively lenient like they are with tints?

 

Same here as in Boston. They will pull you over once and give you a warning. After it has been logged in they can track it so if you say something like I lost it, they will tell you sure that's the same thing you said last week. I wish they were lienant with tints here. You're lucky especially in the NYC

 

I don't know if we are lucky with tints in NYC, anything lower than 35% and I get my ***** busted on every corner.

 

i havent had a frontn plate on my cars for over 5 years now and knock on wood i havent had one problem, even when i got pulled over they didnt say anything abt it, cop said nice car and gave me my ticket/warning....

but like hi tech g said once your in the system, your on file

i say they shop has my plate and i guess they forgot to put it on when i got it repaired, that works well, most of the time they just give u a verbal warning and dotn even logg you intot he system unless your a d!ck

as for tint in boston hi tech 20% is to much anyways man, you will have no prob adding 35% and that will drop to 26-28% do to the soft ray factory tint, anything else you should be ticketed for, just cant see ****

 

i never put a front plate on my car (with the exception of the FX) because it kills the looks. i do kknow a lot of officers and get out of it but some rookies will pull you over quickly because it's a fast ticket for you and them.

just be careful if you do so. tints everyone is getting strict all around now

 

yea i also wanted info on this because on my next car i dont want to get a front license plate..90% of the time it makes the car look horrible.
