I moved to Voorhees,(the next town over). The area is really nice..close to Philly. Previously I lived in North Jersey which the closest major city being NYC. Philly is great , but it is no NYC.

I live in burlington, a few towns over, Mt laurel is a very nice area. I think you will be pleased with it. Its close to philly as allreay mentioned , if you like the nightlife , oldcity philly is always jumping. Your not that far from the beaches in the summer time, a few hours drive will get you to some ski slopes in the winter, the poconos arent great but its the best we have. My only complaint about south jersey after living here so long is that it is becoming increasingly "built up" all the farms are becoming houseing developments but other than that its great. Oh yeah if you like to loose money atlantic city is pretty nice to

Re: Mt Laurel Jersey

Nice area to live in NJ. School system is very good, taxes are reasonable although getting higher, and still reasonably close to Philly and add an extra hour to NYC for fun. Lots of development in the last 10 years, I don't think it has much more room for growth. Most open lands have been built on by developers, commercial businesses, or state/local. They are very active in preserving what's left and not letting builders start anything massive.

Traffic can be a mess depending of where you are, and where you are heading. Take the G out on some back roads, or towards the shore for some fun!

Good luck, and see you on the road!
