anyone know how to fight a ticket in boston? got pulled over just before for doing 50 in a 30. the cop jumped int he middle of the street with his laser gun and pulled me over..what a jackass.

HAHAHA...where did you get bagged? If I had to guess I would say either Commonwealth Ave, Center St or the VFW Parkway. On the back of the citation there is a box you can check of to request a hearing. Check that off and mail it to the court stated on the front bottom right corner. They will mail you a magistrate hearing date. If you loose you pay 20.00 to take your case in front of a judge and to cross examin the officer if he shows up. At that point your fate is within the judges hand. Hopefully it's nowhere in Roxbury cause you can forget about it.

I kind of figured. Comm Ave was my first thought. When you said 50 in a 30 I was like Comm Ave is wide enough (watched an M3 and a Porsche get bagged for drag racing). Luckily they didn't get you with the "pedestrian in the crosswalk" ticket. Your hearing will be Downtown. They may give you a break if you have a decent record (more than likely reduction). The weather is getting nice so they are going to be looking for anything in violation especially speeders! You know inspection stickers give you until the end of the month to get it....I got stopped and told you know your sticker is going to expire. I told the officer yep that's why I am going to the dealer now!
