hey do i count anymore? that LR coupe prolly belongs to an officer from the base. There are a few coupe there. We had a cool lil get together last year(scootch, myself, lords47, titan) got some good pix while on base with the newport bridge in the background.
Anyways, when did you go inside fort adams at night? man thats some ballsy ****. I always wanted to do it but never had the chance. Usually I'd just park my unit my the housing and pass the hell out. Anyways, i'll be G riding in RI this Aug. look out for the CB sedan!

I used to live in RI for about 4 1/2 years (I went to Johnson & Wales University). I always wanted the G. I finally bought it when I moved back to NYC. Im there every coupe of months. I'll be there next month.

 

so does anyone actually live in RI right now? or did you all just used to live there.

 

um.... i only know of like a couple people on here that actually live in RI right now, RIG35Guy and ChickFlynByU,
I sorta still live in pawtucket, i'm just deployed at the moment.

 

Ya its Bruce Palmer the guy that used to do B101 http://www.cruisinbruce.com old timers music..(i dont go there for the music). anyways typically in October, he holds a car show event @ Fort Adams $10 to enter... its a pretty good time, and a great time for some pretty sweet pics, especially with the Bridge and sail boats in the back ground, and one year there was actually a cruise ship docked...

^ Does Bruce have a moustache, brown hair, and wears glasses? I saw a 40-something yr old driving a LR coupe over the Newport Bridge last year, and saw the same one parked in downtown Newport on several later occassions.

Thanks for the info about the Fort Adams gathering. I'll definitely go, it's very scenic down there, which makes for an enjoyable drive. Be sure and post again when the event nears to remind everyone about it.
