It's with Nigel now. I hit some crazy manhole last night. I didn't see it cuz i was first in line at a traffic light and i was going like 2 mph from a stop. Ten feet later I hear this crazy crunching noise and my car wouldnt move.
Basically the manhole ripped that thin metal support thing under my car and bent it towards the ground so that its like 1/2" off the ground. I couldn't drive it without making this crazy scraping noise and sparks for every little bump i hit.
When we lifted it up today we saw that the thing was pulled back from me moving forward and the part of the frame where its bolted onto was pushed up too. If i want to fix it correctly then I'm gonna need a body shop to pull the frame out so that the holes line up correctly to be reattached.

Jon, that's horrible news man! I know when my rim got rocked by an above ground manhole in Newton, I told my insurance company and they didn't do anything for a year...lets just say I got the rim paid for. I would definitely report it and tell them to investigate it.
