hi. i found this thread. i am new and am from the beantown area.
are g35c common in the new england area?
i am planning to buy an 06 model. if a reputable dealer says its certified by them (not infiniti preown certified though) , should i still take the car to a mechanic or body shop to check for damages or previous past cover-up repair work?

is there a mechanic in the boston / cambridge/watertown/allston area that is reliable and know how to look at g35c ?

 

i have another question for the beantowners.

really, is it safe to park in the boston/newbury/back bay/cambridge area...
parking to catch a nice lunch or dinner or window shopping..
are there high chances of vandalism ? i dont want to come back to a car with wheels stripped away and paint work keyed.

sorry for being paranoid but i have not had the opportunity to own/drive a nice sporty car before in the boston area...

I don't know about parking overnight on the street, but I have parked on the street at all of these locations for several hours at night and have no incidents so far <knock on wood>

 

Yeah in the areas that you listed, parking should be fine.

As for cerified preowned, i would get it checked out by a mechanic anyway.

btw. spotted a IP coupe with what looked like all black Axis Hiro's turning onto Autobahn Rd in Wakefield. i was at the Pleasure Island Sunoco gettin gas. looks real nice

Spotted a white g37c on 95N right before the NH border. I was in a 2nd gen sedan and saw you pass on the right...tried to catch up to wave...then saw a statie pull out behind us w/lights flashing. He ended up pulling you over...sorry whoever that was. Car looked good tho!
