Keeping your car clean in the winter...

I was just wondering how do you guys clean your car in the winter and keep it clean. I mean its far too cold out to hand wash my car, I don't have a heated garage and im running out of ideas to bring the car to the dealership for them to fix something so they will clean it. I know I could bring it to a car wash but as far as I know they're not too great for the car. So I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions because my car is getting dirty especially the wheels and I need it cleaned!!

There is one on rt 9 in Westborough, MA and the thing is great. I would try one out in your area if you have one. The only problem is that the carwash place could be using super strong soap that can strip clear coat. If they dont use industrial soap ur good.

I use a touchless place right by my house once a week in the winter (unless it is way below freezing or tons of snow on the ground) and at least once a month I do a quick hand wash. I have 4 very large laundry detergent bottles that I cut the pour-spouts off of and rinsed really well. I fill up my soap bucket and rinse as I go with the detergent bottles (don't use really hot water if it is really cold out. You might crack your glass). It is better than the touchless and it gives me a chance to clean my wheels really good too. I usually have to refill the bottles once halfway through the wash..I also went out and bought thick rubber gloves at Home Depot that help my hands from turning into ice blocks...

I just spent 16 hours on saturday detailing my car so shes all good and ready for the winter. All i have left to do is put my stocker winter wheels on.

As far as your issue is concerned, why not just invest in a tiny electric/gas powered heater that was you can keep the garage nice and toasty if you want to do some work to your car.

Or you could always pay someone to do it for you. Not my first choice but if you dont want to do it yourself its always an option
