My G is parked and covered. Drove the 97 Civic Hatch and laughed at all the BMW's and other cars out there. Traffic was super bad as it took me 45 minutes to get through one ligh and damn near 5 hours to get home

yeah, I saw a lot of bimmers and benz's stuck in the snow. People don't understand that just because your car costs $50k, if you're RWD and running summer tires, you're not going anywhere

I agree w/ you. They help a lot, but don't work miracles. I took the back roads once I got closer to home in order to avoid traffic on the highway and my slip light was on regularly along with the front brakes working regularly to avoid slippage.

that's what you get for parking it on the side of the road when there's a snow emergency

My wife came and picked me up when it was snowing.. I left my G in my works install bay, all safe and secure.. then we get a call from my brother in law, saying he is stuck, he was driving a company pickup.. so we go to help him out.. he is stuck on a pretty steep hill, i climb in, and see that the 4wd is busted.. i rock the truck back and forth till it got out, but it won't climb the hill at all.. so he calls his boss to come help him out..

30 minutes later his boss comes with a monster of a plow pickup and literally pushed the other pickup up the hill.. by this time, the stuck pickup's transmission wouldn't go into drive, so the plow pickup just kept pushing it up the hill, and then a mile to its destination..

freaking crazy... diesl 4wd trucks are beasts.
i am just gonna leave my g parked, and just drive the wife's highlander..

Maybe that 1" wheel size makes a big difference...I don't know. Last year I tried to drive with my 19" continental contisports and they wouldn't go any where. With these Dunlops...I had no problems getting home what's so ever. It makes having a rear wheel drive sports car in New England not a problem.

This weather is for the birds. The G is covered and parked nice and safely while I drive my hooptie around. I've sen plenty of sedans driving in the snow with no problem. No coupes though.

Well, I drove with them last winter when I first got them, and liked them alot. But my post above was my reaction to being caught in the middle of a snow storm, when the streets were not plowed very well. I tried to get up a SMALL hill in traffic and couldn't do it. It was frustrating.

Overall, I like them. And they handle well even at 145mph...or so I hear.
