like many other meets, alot of people put their names down and a majority of them don't show up.... just an observation

 

I just don't like the idea of having a meet in the rain.....

 

+1, people talk about people not showing up if you move the date. I can just imagine those that won't when its friggen raining out. I know for one that I sure as hell won't be coming if its raining. Whats the point? We meet to show our cars, get them nice and clean, and chat. We just had a meet last week in Framingham and it was cold and windy and it killed the atmosphere, can't imagine rain, cold and wind. There needs to be consideration in moving the location if the date is set in stone to somewhere that is covered partially at least.

We do have the optional covered garage at 3point5sedan's place of work. I'd personally just reschedule to a nice weather day....

As of now, things are not looking good as the weather goes.

If its raining, I probably would pass and just sleep in...

 

If it gets cancelled, it gets cancelled. Maybe we could do next week. For those that don't want to drive all the way down to CT for the UCONN show you know?

 

Ok I guess the final decision will be made pretty soon by the meet managers, but my job is open if you guy's want to do that, every car can fit under the covered area, its more then enough space.

Another option is set up another date on a sunny day, and let those who would like to meet saturday meet anyways.

Make another thread for those who will meet in the rain anyways, and keep this thread but updated with another date as the designated BIG meet day when theres more sun.

Just an idea.

 

We'll play it out till Thursday and if the weather gurus say that its going to rain-out the meet on Saturday, another thread will be started for those that still wish to meet at 3point5sedan's covered garage in Framingham. And this post will be updated to show the rescheduled date.

But for now, its still on this Saturday. Two more days to see if the weather will go in our favor.

Sup guys, I'm an "import" from the Maxima.Org site now that I own a G35 Sedan. I used to go to most of their meets but never been to a G35 one since I just got the car last Fall. Anyways going to try to make it Saturday for a bit, looking forward to meeting some of you.

Oh and by the way my G's still 99% stock so I'm going to be stealing everyones mod ideas lol..
