Ok so there seems to be a lot of interest to make this a meet up for a cruise down to the UCONN show.

So how about make this a meetup for the cruise down to UCONN? Its a good idea to make it a meet before the UCONN show but UCONN show opens at 9:00am and registration closes at noon. So timing is hard.

So we should do a 9:00am meet at a rest stop somewhere on route 90W. Probably like the Framingham Service Area.

What do you all think of this?

 

Thats a great central spot, we met there for the NE Mnt. Run. It has place to eat and gas up if anyone needs and a huge parking lot. I also live in Framinigham

 

why don't we get a list of people who actually want to go to Uconn? I think that might be a bit hard, but doable. Also, who is actually SHOWING their car? We need to take everyone into consideration since we have a lot of n00bs

That sounds like a pretty good idea to me though.

 

i'll be down for only the local meet. you guys should do two seperate meets. people who wanna meet and go to UCONN and people that wanna show up a little later (10:00am or 11:am) for a local meet

 

I mean I would like to attend both if possible. I have been here on the NE section of g35 for sometime (not as long as some, u know who u are) and would like to put faces and cars to screen names. I think this thread should remain what it was pre-ideas/hijack about combining it with the UConn trip. UConn has its own thread and it should remain that way. Lets try and keep this simple.

Click on "Satellite" view...there are tons of single parking spots around 200 along the main road or the major parking lot.

Now that date and place are confirmed...start a new list on who's coming to this meet alone...nothing to do with UCONN

I don't think Castle is such a good idea. There's going to be a lot of cars there because of people running and families. We might want to stick to the docks in the huge parking lot behind the Expo.
