i wanted to get it out that burdick nissan is holding its annual z adventure on july 24-25th. historically this has been just a z car event, but this yr they are excited to be in their new location and have extended the invitation to infiniti and nissan and not just z cars...all nissan made vehicles that have owners who are passionate about their vehicles. there will be trophys and food, and entry is $20. on sunday, they will have an autocross course set up at the same location. this is a rain or shine event...they have an entire vacant shopping mall for an indoor show!

How many years has Burdick done this show, and how many show and autoX participants are expected this year? So...$20 to show your ride? Any general admission or autoX fees?

How big is the 350z community in Syracuse? I might be interested in stopping by, particularly if I can drive home with a '04 build 350z suspension in my trunk. Know any 350 guys with new suspensions - I want their springs and struts!

i believe this is the 2nd yr, and the first at their new drivers village. it is a very impressive site. i am a maxima owner, but i was asked by the burdick guys to do some networking and get the word out about the show. from what i understand, to be judged and eligible for trophys, its $20, and the auto cross is $15. the attendance is expected to be fairly decent, since this is one of the few gatherings in the NE for Z cars... as i mentioned, i was speaking with them and they agreed that anyone that has a nissan that would like to attend, is welcome...the site is already being used, so why not have more cars/or trucks that people have done work to...it promotes their brand, so why not get the people who tune and mod their stuff all together at the same time. this same site is being used next yr for the international z convention. also for next yr, they have reserved a day at watkins glen to run the road course! we also discussed having a nissan day at the glen this yr. it was agreed that that would be very possible and would be open again to all nissans. i will be speaking with the guys at burdick on monday when i go in to have them look at my tranny and have an alignment done. i will ask any questions you would like me to forward. thanks for your interest.
