had a close call today....

I ordered some materials I needed from Grainger and the retard I talked to didn't ask me if I needed metal parts or nylon so when I called today to see if my order was there the guy tells me that they ordered me all nylon parts

So I stuck them with the order and didn't accept it. Tried to find a place locally that I could source the materials I needed from and found a spot in Wakefield that had exactly what I was looking for on the shelf. Apparently they only stock or sell metric stuff so it was nice to know considering 90% of the stuff in our cars is metric and home depot/lowes doesn't carry or stock metric anything these days.

Long story short I'm back on track for finishing the projector foglight mods this weekend but now knowing I could have gotten it over the counter 2 days ago I feel more like I'm behind than on track again

all the same I should have this mod completed by Saturday afternoon and ready to blind people... I mean test LOL on Saturday night

I did complete the color cutoff mod on both sets of projectors so even with the stock bulbs I have a blueish tint to the cutoff line and its razor sharp now compared to stock

And I upgraded all the lenses on the projectors to TSX lenses so they're clearer and brighter than stock

I also wired up the highbeam solenoids from all 4 projectors together so when I put on the highbeams even the foglights will have highbeam functions too.

all thats left is mounting the foglight projectors and cutting the bezels out of the junk set I have lying around and mount them in the bezels I'm going to use so it looks like stock

Now I just gotta decide if I wanna put in a demon eye or halos or anything before I seal them up and put them on the car....
Nice Story there buddy
