See above post. More than likely the acid probally ate the clear coat off the wheels and it is now down to the actual metal. Youll have to polish them back to a high gloss shine and then upkeep them afterwards until you can get them recleared.

thanks a lot for the info dude. now that i think of it i think the spray did eat the clear coat off.

^They don't do much other than sell what it says its good for. I'd go in there and ask to speak to the manager. Reclearing is about 120.00 per wheel. If you come down on Friday I'll take a look at it and see if theres a short term solution so you can look good for the rest of the Summer.

ohh icic. my sisters bf said that i could get the wheels repolished and reworked but its like 200 per wheel...each solution is still pretty expensive..all over a $8 bottle of wheel cleaner...
Yea ill be at the car wash meet friday..everyone can marvel at what is left of my clear coat
