Hi, I'm picking up a G35x in a couple days. Dealer wants $650 to install "autobahn" protector (similar to clear bra). As this seems extremely high, can anyone recommend a local installer? I live near Newburyport MA, so northeast Mass or southern NH would be most convenient. Thanks, in advance

I've been looking into this recently and IMO, that pricing is maybe a little on the high side, but not outrageous. If you search this forum, freshalloy, or my350z, a tremendous amount of people recommend Thomas from SE-EX, 917-225-6531, www.se-ex.com. He's based out of NY but he can come to Boston (for an extra fee). He's also the only person around who stocks the wide material for a piece that covers the entire hood. I think I'm going to try to get him to do the clear bra on my coupe.

Contact Brian at TintKing in Billerica. He did a great job on my 6MT sedan tinting. He said he recommended clear bra but I did not feel like getting it at the time. Call him for a price quote, you won't be disappointed.

 

I think TINT KING is around the same price but they do everything including rear bumper, hood, front bumper, side views, fenders, headlights

Personally, I would just get it done at the dealership
