Anyone use Wheels America in Farmingdale for rim repair? If so, what was your experience like? Thanks.

(Yes, I f'ed up my wheel on a curb last week. Still pissed at myself!)

Re: Wheels America

Yes I have used them to repair some 16" team dynamics and the work was absolutely flawless. The put a great clearcoat to give a a riduculous sheen which made it simpler to clean.
All for $104 a rim.
Try them you won't be dissapointed.

Re: Wheels America

I went there to see what they could do about my scrape, but never got it repaired. They said they had done a couple of OEM 18s. I was extremely concerned about the paint match. They said they can only get that about 96%. You will only notice a difference once in a while. And the difference would be miniscule. None of your friends would notice. It all depends on how well you know your 18s.

Re: Wheels America

I used them on my eclipse stock rims and had no problems. The next time I used them was on two custom black opal rim with damage to the rim edge. When I got it back, the painted silver was coming off the rim and they told me to send it back to the manufactory (Konig) and it's no there problem. I give them the rims with only damage to the side. B/S on Wheel America. I did send it to Konig and was told< That's not warranty. I was done by removing the tires and must of robed on the truck on delivery. I told that to Wheel America, was to f--k off. The good news, was the body shop that had the rims sent out to america give my, about $250 body work if I need it in the future. I hope I don't need it.

Re: Wheels America

My damage is pretty significant. I'll likely try them out. Thanks for the heads up.
