Question Feeler: Fall Run

Hello Everyone!

We wanted to get the ball rolling on the plans for the Fall Run...

Anyone have any suggestions on Locations?

We were discussing possiblly October in Newport, RI.

The last feeler we had up for the Summer Run Newport and CT were the next 2 most popular.

Let us know what you think, Thanks!

I love Newport. The scenery is beautiful, perfect for photo opportunities, and plenty of great restaurants on the water, and plenty of bars...
I've never been to the beaches down there, but I hear they are nice. Does anyone know where exactly the beach is located? Not the one in Middletown, that one seems lame...

If you're headed down Thames St, and you get to where you can go straight up the hill towards Bellview / Mansions / Tennis Hall of Fame or right onto Lower Thames St, you continue up the hill. Cross through the lights at Bellview, and the beach is on your left. It's a lame beach, IMO.

If you want a nice beach, go to Galilee, Scarborough, etc in the Narraganset area. Also, Horseneck Beach in Westport Ma is real nice. That's where I always went growing up for the killer waves.

As for a run: I'm going for one in about 20 minutes. Anyone care to join me?
