Is there anyone with Av Electronic's TV-Tuner install in there G
in the NYC area? I would like to take a look at Video quality and Audio quality before I have mine done. An installer in the area is telling me its not the way to go.....thanks for any info. on this subject.

Yo Gman. I'll be at the meet on the 27th if you wanna come check it out or if your gonna be there and can wait till then. I have the tuner hooked up to a home DVD player right now so that should give you a good idea of the quality. I mean it's not HD but it's sure not bad.......
If you can't mak it to the meet let me know and maybe we can arrange something. I am in Nassau a lot so thats like half way. Whichever works let me know.

GforceI. Thanks for the info. I am planing to go to the meet on 27th but I will be driving to Canada that week....that might be too late. I am also planing to be at the meet in Queens on Sunday. If you will be there, that would be cool. If not we could have a meet of our own... just let me know.
Who did your install? And how much did you spend?

 

Yeah I did it myself. If you can hook up a deck in a car then you can hook this up no prob. I spent about I think 350 on the unit plus some extra for cables and stuff. I Don't remember but I got in on one of the group buys a long time ago. I Just got back from Penn. and the ride was nice with a few DVD's to watch along the way. I dont think that I will make it to the queens meet but I may. I will be at the next one though if you make it there.
