Re: How's Ray Catena in Edison?

I just bought from Ray Catena about a week ago...So far I haven't had any service done there...But I complained about them installing a front liscense plate bracket on my bumper, since I'm from PA and we don't have front plates...They gave me no problems at all and told me they would order a new front bumper and install it at no charge when it arrives...That part of the service went really smooth...I'll keep you updated

Re: How's Ray Catena in Edison?

I bought my car from King's Infiniti in Brooklyn NY.

I get my car serviced at Catena's. So far I have been there twice. The first visit was for my 1k service which went well (they didnt give me any grief about taking an oil sample for me either). The second was for some warranty work and a dent repair (dam parking lots). They fixed my two warranty problems and almost got my ding all the way out. Since the ding was only 80% repaired they did not charge me for the dent repair at all.

Overall they get a 9 out of 10 for me.

Pretty good service. I got my oil change done there, all three times. Very professional and curtious. Got a nice G35X the last time I took a loaner out. They had a little difficulty getting the cracking/creeping noises out of the passenger side door, but when it's all said and done there was no more noise.

i hate ray catena. my family owns 3 infinitis all bought at flemington. i live in central jersey, but drive all the way to flemington for service. never had any problems. i tried taking my cars to ray catena for service and they wanted me to wait 1 month for a loaner, plus they are expensive.

Re: How's Ray Catena in Edison?

I bought from RC last year. They royally screwed up my order so I had to wait an extra month. But they made up for it by giving me a hefty discount on a 6mt coupe when people were still paying sticker. They were pretty nice in general.

Just went for my 3k service last week. They were very nice and were happy to give me a loner (appointment was for 8am so they had a dozen sitting ready to go).

Also had a scratched Rim that they had a guy come in and repair. Came out pretty good. Not absoultly perfect (no paint repair ever is) but I am the only who can tell where it is and I have to try really hard to find it.

Re: How's Ray Catena in Edison?

I bought both the Coupe for myself and the G35x for my wife and was very pleased at the whole experience. My father in-law works for Nissan and when he told his couterparts that I bought from RC they said "they bought from one of the best service dealers in NJ" so that made me feel pretty good about the purchase. I haven't had any service done yet but am looking forward to a nice experience.

Re: How's Ray Catena in Edison?

I am thinking of getting a G35c from Ray Catena - but they just called me back to up the price they quoted me earlier because "we don't have many coupes left". Does this make sense?? Are these guys for real?? Any suggestions?

Just went there the other day to check out the G35c's, about to put a deposit down monday for a 6MT. They told me I should be able to get it around the beginning of August....just in time for the Palisades meet :-D Good deal since I live in Lodi.

Re: How's Ray Catena in Edison?

Well...I just picked a new 04 6MT Twilight Blue from RC...they didn't negotiate too much but were a little flexible....overall, experience was OK; will report on service...
